In Step With: Alumni Updates

It's a challenging time in a changing world.

For some, the rocky economy has provided new possibilities. For others, it has put a stop to some sought-after dreams. The solution means taking unexpected turns, whether it's finding a new career, staying in school, or taking another look around to find benefits in new business opportunities.

The alums we spoke with are in different stages in their lives. What we found is inspiring--in these three grads who received their U.Va degrees within the last 15 years, we saw the same desire to make the most out of a tough situation.
